Medical Training Program on Neurological Disorders
On Saturday, June 11th, 2016, VANEM 2016 held their official continuous training program at the Fortuna Hotel in Hanoi. The program featured four speakers who presented on various topics related to neuromuscular diseases and disorders. These speakers and their presentations included:
- Nguyen Le Trung Hieu MD, Ms – Techniques for estimating the number of motor units and their relevance to neuromuscular diseases, such as MUNE.
- Vo Nguyen Ngoc Trang MD, Ms- Autonomic function tests, including techniques and applications.
- Nguyen The Luan MD, PhD – An overview of critical illness neuromyopathy, including research on 133 patients in the ICU.
- Professor Umapathi (NNI Singapore) – Basic clinical approach to diseases of the muscle, neuromuscular junction, and peripheral nerves.
The event was attended by medical professionals and students interested in neuromuscular medicine and offered attendees the opportunity to receive CME credits.
